New name, more possibilities! Find out more
Solving London’s Air Pollution problem… together.

Replace your non-compliant car with a Hybrid or Electric Vehicle, list it on Drivy and we’ll waive our fees

The Mayor’s Ultra Low Emission Zone, ULEZ, (what’s that?) is now in place, and many of the UK’s 9.5 million diesel cars will be charged to enter central London. Whether you love the idea (we do!) or hate it, many people will want to give up their cars, or perhaps change their cars to a compliant model. We get it, though... cleaner cars can be more expensive to buy. But Drivy wants to do our bit too, so we’ll waive our service fees for people renting out their Hybrids and EVs on Drivy, in the hope that it helps people get the cleanest, greenest model possible.

  1. List your Electric or Hybrid Vehicle by 08/04/2020

  2. When our team gets in touch, you will be required to provide proof of scrappage of your non-compliant car.

  3. Once confirmed, we will waive our service fee for a year from the date of confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cars that do not meet the ULEZ standards will be charged £12.50 for everyday you drive within the zone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including public holidays). This charge is an additional fee on top of the congestion charge you are required to pay if you drive within the Congestion Charge Zone Monday - Friday, 6am - 7pm.
Broadly speaking, petrol cars younger than 2006 and diesel cars younger than 2015 will be exempt from the charge. But we encourage everyone to visit the TFL website and use their vehicle checker. Simply search for 'ULEZ Checker' at www.tfl.gov.uk.
The change will first operate in the current Congestion Charging Zone (CCZ), and will expand on the 25th October 2021 to Inner London, defined by the North and South Circular roads.
Londoners are in danger of damaging their health. The levels of pollution in the air are so high that it has now become one of Londons most significant concerns. Measures have now been put in place to encourage those travelling in central London to walk and cycle, but despite efforts to remove cars in the capital, the need still remains. The ULEZ is designed to reduce the amount of cars driving within this zone, to make it a healthier and safer place to live, work and visit. Drivy's mission is also to reduce the amount of cars in cities, and we believe car sharing is the solution to replace car ownership. To check out our mission page visit, www.drivy.co.uk/mission.
First, scrap your non compliant car, and replace it with an Electric or Hybrid model. Second, list your new cleaner, greener car on Drivy. We will then get in touch and ask for proof of scrappage. Once confirmed, we will waive our Drivy service fees from the date of our confirmation, for 12 months.
