The included mileage depends on the length of your rental. A 1 day rental will include 120 miles and you’ll get an additional 120 miles included for each additional day you rent, up to 720 miles.
NB: A 1 hour rental will include 24 miles, with an additional 12 miles for each rental hour thereafter.
Example rental scenarios:
1 hour: mileage allowance of 24 miles 5 hours: mileage allowance of (1x24 miles) + (4x12 miles) = 72 miles 9 to 24 hours: mileage allowance of 120 miles
There’s no limit to how many miles you can drive during your rental, but if you exceed the included mileage limit, you’ll be charged for the extra after your trip ends.
The price per extra mile is set by Getaround, and depends on the country in which you rent the car as well as the car category.
In the UK:
For example: You rent a car for one day, so you have 120 miles included, but you end up driving 150 miles. After your trip, you’ll be charged for the extra 30 miles driven, according to the price set by Getaround.
If you drive less than the included mileage, you won’t be refunded for the unused miles.
